Classification
During the classification, it is determined what regulations that applies to the individual product. It is the regulations that determine how the further EAC approval process is and what is ultimately required to obtain the EAC approval.
In order to classify a product, it is important that we have as much information as possible. Remember that you as a company know everything about your product, but we do not, so it is necessary that we get as much information as possible. The classification depends not only on the product but also on its use and where it will be used.
To start the classification, we need as much of the the following information as possible;
- HS code (s).
- Description of the product.
- What should the product be used for?
- Where should it be used? Food business, oil & gas industry, wind turbines, electricity.
- Links to catalogs or website with description of the product.
- Has your customer already specified requirements regarding which regulations and standards must be met?
- Technical data sheets, manuals etc.
